Have you ever forgotten your password? Then you know just how frustrating it is. Passwords are infuriating for the user and dangerous for both your company and your customers. Read more to see how SMARTER-LOGIN has got rid of the dreaded password.
Passwords are dangerous because when you enter your password on a site or server app, your identity is created and your password is linked to that identity.
All of these identities are stored on a server and as we’ve seen in the press, this information is vulnerable to attack.
Forgetting your password can mean hours of wasted time – resetting your password, thinking of a new, more complex password that you’ve not used in the last 12 months and so on.
We’ve all been there. That’s why the team at SMARTGLYPH have developed a way to create a new way of creating a password-free Digital Identity.
Passwords have many failings. Over 2.7 billion people are frustrated by their digital experience. Forgotten passwords and difficult reauthentication processes lead to disenchanted customers and users.
Why do company’s continue to use passwords in their authentication process?
Creating a Digital Identity is quick, easy, simple and secure. The SMARTER-LOGIN app is downloaded to the user’s main device and a unique Digital Identity is created which can be cascaded to other devices. Each Digital Identity is assigned a unique SMARTGLYPH action code.
As a business embedding the SMARTER-LOGIN authentication module onto your server takes about 10 minutes.
Users browsing on the site will be asked “do they have a password or would they like to sign in using SMARTER-LOGIN”.
If they elect to sign in using SMARTER-LOGIN the API will recognise their Digital Identity and using it will pass the encrypted Digital Identity to the administrator and allow the user to continue onto the site.
The next time the user logs in they will simply press the SMARTER-LOGIN button and you are done.
